With no need to pay a monthly subscription for the channels on offer, you can access different TV channels with a minimum of fuss or setup hassles. Alas, things can go wrong and if you should find your receiver is no longer working, there are two simple steps that could see you watching FTA channels again in no time at all.
Instructions
1. Remove the power cord from the back of the Viewsat receiver. Leave for 10 minutes before returning and plugging it back in. If this does not work, go to Step 2.
2. Locate the receiver's reset button. This can usually be found on the front left side next to the power button and channel select button. Press the reset button.
3. Wait for your receiver to boots back up. Check that your channels are still in place. If not, rescan for satellites and their channels.
