It is possible to find hidden patterns using Photoshop.
Subliminal images are images that contain a hidden message, pattern or image within another image. The theory behind these images is that humans subconsciously perceive the hidden image and are influenced by its message. There is little evidence to support this view, however, many people still make these images and use them on websites or in print ads. Finding out whether an image contains a hidden message is not too difficult, since they will often be discolorations that tell you something is going on. However, if you want to determine just what the subliminal pattern or message is, you will need to use a graphics program, such as Adobe Photoshop.
Instructions
1. Load the image you want to examine onto your computer, either by transferring it from a digital source or by scanning it in from a printed copy.
2. Open Photoshop. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog box that appears, locate the image that you loaded and open it.
3. Go to "Image" in the menu and choose "Adjustments." From the options, choose "Brightness/Contrast."
4. Increase the "Contrast" slider to maximum. The raise the "Brightness" slider until you can clearly see the subliminal pattern.
