Petsitter Games

Pet-sitting video games are ideal for animal-loving kids.

Playing online pet games is a great way for kids to have all the fun of taking care of their very own pet, without the mess and responsibility found in the real world. If your kids are interested in pet-sitting, you can give them some virtual practice with any of these entertaining free online games.

"Cat Sitter"

In "Cat Sitter," which is presented by Purina Cat Chow and can be found at the Girl Games Now website, you get to play sitter to an adorable cat. Start the game by choosing which cat you want to take care of, then take a look at its three needs at the top of the screen ("Food," "Exercise" and "Care"). Click each need to choose feed, care for or exercise your cat. The goal of the game is to keep your cat happy until the time bar runs out.

"Sue Dog Sitter"

"Sue Dog Sitter," which is also offered at the Girl Games Now website, is a game in which you're in charge of babysitting and grooming all the cute dogs that come your way. Click the dogs on the conveyor belt to place them in the bath, then blow-dry and trim their fur until they match the picture given to you at the start of the game. Finish by dressing them up with cute clothing and accessories to earn points.

"Puppy Center"

In "Puppy Center," which is hosted at the Play Pink website, you play Amy, a girl who's in charge of her parent's puppy-center business. As each pet arrives, you must take care of it by picking it up and bringing it over to the part of the center that it's thinking about. Pick up grooming and care-taking tools from the cupboard to complete your action. The aim of the game is to keep all the puppies happy and well taken care of.

"Sad Puppy"

In "Sad Puppy," which also can be found at the Play Pink gaming website, you're pet-sitting a very sad little puppy that needs an all-new outfit to cheer it up. Click the options at the top of the screen to pick out its hat, top, bottom, shoes, accessories and toys to create your outfit. Design a matching look, or mix and match to come up with an all-new style. Click "Done" once you're finished to see whether your outfit cheered up the sad puppy.
