Instructions
1. Navigate to the Craigslist homepage (see Resources). Click on the city in which you would like to advertise your business.
2. Click "Post to Classifieds."
3. Click the "Service Offered" option under the heading "What type of posting is this."
4. Click on the type of service your business is offering under the "Please choose a category" heading. Choices range from automotive work to gardening services. Click "Continue."
5. Type in your email address and Craigslist password if prompted.
6. Type a title for your business and its services in the "Posting Title" box. Type your location in the "Specific Location" box. Type your business's email address in the "Reply To" box.
7. Type a description of your business and what you offer in the "Posting Description" box.
8. Click "Continue" when finished to submit your business ad to Craigslist. You will receive an email from Craigslist confirming the ad in the inbox of the email address you put in your listing. Click on the link in the email to activate your Craigslist business ad.
