Fonts To Turbo Lister

Turbo Lister is a free program developed by eBay for the purpose of making listing items on the Ebay Website easier. It has a built-in HTML designer, editor and viewer so people without HTML expertise can create professional-looking ads, and those with HTML expertise can write the ad in HTML and then view it. If you're using the HTML designer feature in Turbo Lister, there are only a few fonts to choose from. With a little knowledge however, it isn't difficult to add another font to your eBay ad with Turbo Lister.

Instructions

1. Open your eBay listing in Turbo Lister, and click on the "Edit" button.

2. Click on the "HTML view" tab, and scan through the HTML until you find the text to which you want to add a new font. The text will be nestled in amidst HTML code, so scan it closely. The text itself will look normal.

3. Find the "" tag just to the left of the beginning of the text. Within the tag you will see "face=Times," "face=Arial" or "face=Verdana." This is the font type being used currently for the text.

4. Replace the "Times," "Arial" or "Verdana" with a non-default font. Your options for non-default fonts include "Helvetica," "Garamond," "Impact," "Comic Sans," "Georgia" and "Monospace." These are the fonts most-often supported by computers. If you try a font and it doesn't show up as different than before when you preview it, your computer doesn't support the font.

5. Click on the "Preview Listing" tab, and view what the text looks like with the font you chose. If you like it, save the listing and sync it with Ebay. If not, go back to the HTML View tab, and try a different font.
