Save money and make your own business cards.
Business cards are perfect for briefly stating professional services or skills you have to offer. You can order business cards from a number of different companies, but creating them yourself at home for free is a great alternative. Creating your own business cards is also a good idea if you want something unique.
Instructions
1. Go to the DeGraeve website to begin making your own custom business cards (References 2). Once there, click the "Business Card Generator" link on the right-hand side.
2. Choose a font and a logo you would like for your cards. If you do not have one already, click on the button located beside the logo uploading field; this will take you to a website that provides free clip art. Once you have found a logo you like, copy the URL and paste it into the logo uploading field.
3. Input the necessary information for your card. All fields are completely optional, although it's a good idea to include your name, business name, business address, fax, telephone number, and email address.
4. Decide which lines of text you would like to make bold and how large you want them to appear. Once you've reviewed your information and you're happy with it, click the "Make Business Cards!" button.
5. Your business cards will appear an a PDF, with a total of 12 business cards on the page. Print your new business cards out onto card stock, which will make them thicker and more durable. Save the PDF page to your computer so you can print out more cards when you need them.
