The 099 is a business calculator manufactured by Ibico. It is different than standard desktop calculators, due to its feature that allows you to print your calculations right from the unit. Before you can start using this calculator, you will need to load a roll of paper. The good news is that you can set up the calculator in a matter of minutes.
Instructions
1. Turn over the unit, and slide the door off the battery compartment.
2. Insert two AA batteries into the unit, according to the polarity diagrams in the compartment.
3. Replace the compartment cover, and turn the unit right-side-up.
4. Lift the plastic paper roll cover to expose the paper compartment.
5. Insert a business-calculator-grade spool of paper into the compartment, and replace the cover.
6. Thread about one inch of paper through the opening at top of the cover.
7. Press the "ON/C" button on the calculator to turn on the unit. You can now make calculations using the number pad and set the unit to print using the "Function" keys at the top of the unit.
