Create Your Own Artist Business Card Printing

My business card. (Address is edited.)

If you're an artist, you should design your own business cards to display your artwork. Handing out a well-designed business card can really enhance your profile, and you'll also be able to show the recipient a small sample of your artistic talent.

Instructions

1. Create a project in your photo editor or project maker that is 3 inches by 1 1/2 inches. This is the average size of a business card.

2. Add your artwork image and crop it for more impact. You may want to add a colored filter so you can use several images and still have an overall color theme. Only use one or two colors to keep your card looking professional. Line the image up on the right or left side of the card.

3. Add your contact information on the opposite side of the card. Make your name larger than the rest of the information, and use a different color so it stands out. Put your address, phone number, website, email address or any other information you like.

4. Set the program to print multiple copies of your card on one page. You can usually get nine business cards out of one sheet of card stock.
