Sell Lamps

Do you have a passion for collecting? If you have collected a lot of lamps over the years, you just might be sitting on a gold mine. There are a lot of people out there who are dying to find just the right lamp to complete the look of their room. There are a few ways you can sell those lamps for a decent profit.

Instructions

1. Go online to www.ebay.com and sign up for an account. Use a password that is simple to remember. If you are new to eBay, read all the information available and spend some time getting to know the site.

2. Sign up for a Paypal account so you can get paid. Familiarize yourself with Paypal and the way it works. Use the same password you used on eBay to keep things simple (you will be less likely to forget it).

3. Take some good pictures of all of your lamps. Use good lighting and a simple basic background to show all the details of your lamps. Get a couple of different angles and experiment to see what looks the best.

4. Load your pictures onto the computer and save them in a folder. Upload them onto eBay using the provided form. Fill out all the information about your lamp. Remember, you do not have to sell your item if you do not want to. Try a local flea market if you are not satisfied with your final bid.

5. If eBay is not for you, call and make arrangements with your local flea market (some charge a small fee to set up a shop there). Pack up all your lamps and bring a folding card table or two to display your lamps. Get there early so you can pick a good spot where potential customers are likely to see your lamps. Smile and make eye contact with people as they walk by.
