Instructions
1. Visit the United States Postal Service website. Here you can put your mail on hold, file a change of address and even buy postage stamps. Whether you are an avid collector or simply need to mail out a few bills, you can purchase your stamps on the USPS website.
2. Click on the “Buy Stamps Shop" tab located at the top of the page.
3. Select the box that fits your needs. You can choose stamps for postage, collecting or education. You may also buy a rubber stamp.
4. Choose the type of stamps you need. The postage rate changes frequently so make sure you are choosing enough postage for your letter. You can buy them in coils, books and panes. They also come in a variety of styles, colors, and themes.
5. Create an account with USPS. Simply enter a user name and password. Then select the type of account you wish to create—personal or business. Next, enter your personal information such as name, address, phone number, and email address. Then read and accept to the terms of the privacy act. You now officially have an account with USPS.
6. Enter your credit card information to complete the purchase. All stamp orders are charged a one dollar handling fee. They take between three and five business days to arrive at your mailing address.
