Market Energy Bars

If you have a fantastic recipe for an energy bar that rocks the socks off any athlete, professional or mom, you need to mass market it to the public. With the energy bar market today, a substantial dent in the market niche can be done by adhering to these steps.


Instructions


1. Make sure you have all the finances set up in order to fund the marketing campaign for your energy bar. Most regular advertising avenues can be costly.


2. Survey and research in order to find the public that will buy and eat your energy bar. The various demographic categories to consider are women, men, health conscious individuals, kids, parents, athletes, blue collar workers and professionals.


3. Determine a name for your energy bar based on your survey and research work. If you determine your target market is athletes, you want to choose a name like Stamina. For a professional, a name like Focus. For women, a name like Multi-Task.


4. Package your energy bar with appropriate colors and lettering--keep it simple but catch the eye. Study some of the other bars on the market, and look at how they package their bar.


5. Get the word out by setting up 40 marketing associates to tour stores or malls that your target market frequents. Have samples and bars to sell.


6. Create an advertisement for your energy bars in a magazine or trade publication for your target market. Have it done professionally. Study some of the current ads of other bars to get an idea of how it's done.


7. Monitor your marketing efforts for the purpose of improving your advertising budget to increase the return on your investment.
